The following is excerpt from a video of the "X-ship Camp: A Multi-Generational Co-Creative Survival Camp for the Development of Future Leaders," a survival camp funded by Keio University's 2024 Design the Future Fund held at Keio's Yamanaka Sanso, which is located in Yamanakako Village in Yamanashi Prefecture.

Held in late July, the program was designed to help students develop proficiency in leadership, followership, friendship, and ownership (thus "X-ship") through multi-generational co-creative activities in a survival camp setting.

From Monday, July 29 to Wednesday, July 31, a survival camp funded by Keio University's 2024 Design the Future Fund was held at Keio's Yamanaka Sanso, which is located in Yamanakako Village in Yamanashi Prefecture.

The program, titled "X-ship Camp: A Multi-Generational Co-Creative Survival Camp for the Development of Future Leaders," was designed to help students develop proficiency in leadership, followership, friendship, and ownership (thus "X-ship") through multi-generational co-creative activities in a survival camp setting. The multi-generational project was made possible by Keio's integrated education system, which spans elementary and secondary school through undergraduate and graduate school.

On August 28, Ambassador Kim Gheewhan, President of the Korea Foundation, visited Keio University. He was welcomed by President Kohei Itoh and Professor Junya Nishino of the Faculty of Law.

The meeting was an opportunity to learn more about the activities and projects of the Korea Foundation and explore ways to increase exchange between Keio and Korea.

This year’s SFC Expo, the largest event for Keio

This year’s SFC Expo, the largest event for Keio’s Shonan Fujisawa Campus to showcase its academic and research capabilities, will be held November 23⁠–24 (Sat–Sun).

The expo includes not only the Open Research Forum (ORF), SFC's largest research presentation event, but also the SFC Open Campus, and the Fujisawa City Open Lecture, making this an amazing opportunity to discover SFC’s diverse array of expertise and research.
