The final report session for the research results of students enrolled in AY 2009 will be held.

Details

Presentations on research results and the content and main points of papers will be given in Japanese. Presentation time: 15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A per person. A social gathering will be held after the report session. Individuals other than registered students are also welcome to attend. We look forward to seeing you there.

Notes for Presenters

  1. Presentations, whether individual or group, should cover research results and the content and main points of papers, and should be given in Japanese.

  2. The allotted time per presentation is 20 minutes total, consisting of a 15-minute presentation and a 5-minute Q&A session. (For joint research, the presentation and Q&A sessions may be combined.) Please adhere strictly to the time limits.

  3. Only PowerPoint 2003 is available as presentation software on the PC provided for the final report session. (PowerPoint 2007 format files can also be opened.) If you wish to use other software, such as Keynote, you must provide your own laptop for the presentation. In such cases, please notify the coordinator by the day before your presentation, as special arrangements will be necessary.

  4. If you plan to distribute handouts, please prepare about 40 copies.

  5. Presenters should load their data onto the presentation PC by 10:30 AM on the day of their presentation.

  6. Presenters are required to be in attendance for the entire session, not just during their own presentation time.
