Research Overview

My research focuses on human–machine systems based on control engineering, aiming to realize advanced interaction between humans and machines through information and communication technologies. In robotic systems, I investigate how network-induced temporal uncertainties, such as communication delays and irregular information updates, manifest as vibrations and transient responses that affect system performance. To address this, I develop control methods that incorporate wave-like dynamics and monotonic system responses, thereby achieving smooth motion under irregular conditions and establishing design principles for natural human–machine collaboration.
