Associate Professor Alberto Millán-Martín of our faculty gave a lecture titled "'Nakatsu Ryūbetsu no Sho' and Translators Around the World: Reading Yukichi Fukuzawa's Social Thought in Multiple Languages" at the 121st Memorial Lecture for Yukichi Fukuzawa, hosted by the Former Residence of Fukuzawa Yukichi and Fukuzawa Memorial Museum. This year, to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the memorial service on the anniversary of Fukuzawa's death was held on a limited scale, and the lecture was also conducted online, connecting Tokyo and Nakatsu City.
