About the Science Council of Japan Master Plan 2017

On February 8, 2017, the Science Council of Japan released its recommendation, "Master Plan for Large-Scale Research Projects for the 23rd Term (Master Plan 2017)." Within this plan, "Establishment of Evidence-Based Human Science as a New Social Science and Construction of Network-Type Large-Scale Longitudinal Data," a proposal led by Kyoto University and jointly submitted with collaborators such as Keio University and Hitotsubashi University, was the only project from the humanities and social sciences to be listed among the 28 priority large-scale research projects in the (Master Plan 2017) .
