The 11th Keio Healthcare Venture Contest: Lecture Announcement

Published: June 22, 2026
School of Medicine/Graduate School of Medicine

【Event Overview】

In this year's student category, the Keio Healthcare Venture Contest has established an idea/pitch recruitment category themed around "Mibyou (Pre-symptomatic) Measures."

Mibyou measures is a field that aims not only to treat diseases after they occur but also to understand health status at the pre-disease stage, leading to lifestyle improvements and behavioral changes. On the other hand, to actually deliver Mibyou measures to society, it is necessary to consider what needs and challenges exist in the field, what is required for users to continue using them, and what perspectives are needed to establish them as a business.

In this event, two lecturers will speak about the needs and challenges in the field of Mibyou measures, as well as perspectives for social implementation as a healthcare business.

Mr. Masaya Sawafuji, Deputy Administrative Director of the Keio University Center for Preventive Medicine, will give a lecture on the needs and challenges in the field of Mibyou measures. Additionally, Mr. Tao Cheng, Representative Director and CEO of issin Inc., will give a lecture on perspectives for the social implementation of Mibyou measures as a business, based on the development of products and services that naturally track health status in daily life and lead to lifestyle improvements and behavioral changes.

The content is designed for students interested in business creation in the medical and healthcare fields and those considering applying for the Keio Healthcare Venture Contest, as well as working professionals interested in Mibyou measures, preventive medicine, and healthcare business. We look forward to the participation of many people, whether students or professionals.
