【Event Overview】
The "Keio Healthcare Venture Contest," a business contest hosted by the Keio University School of Medicine, is celebrating its 11th year. To date, a total of over 1,000 teams have entered, and the contest has produced and supported many healthcare startups.
In this kickoff event, we have invited representatives from two teams that won past Keio Healthcare Venture Contests. They will discuss the specific strategies healthcare startups use not just to create services, but to actually get users to "use them," "continue using them," and "spread the word."
Additionally, they will talk about their reasons for participating in the Keio Healthcare Venture Contest, their subsequent growth, and the benefits of participating.
We look forward to the participation of individuals and corporations interested in healthcare startups, as well as those interested in entering a business contest hosted by academia.

【What is the Keio University School of Medicine Hosted "Keio Healthcare Venture Contest"?】
The Keio University School of Medicine holds the "Keio Healthcare Venture Contest," Japan's first business contest hosted by a medical school, every year.
We aim to be a business contest that "nurtures" participants through seminars, mentoring, and judging involving medical and business experts from both within and outside Keio University.
Past participants have gone on to achieve various track records, such as securing funding, starting joint research with Keio University Hospital, and obtaining medical device approval.
We offer a prize of 1 million yen for the winner of the Professional Category, 300,000 yen for the winner of the Student Business Challenge Category, and several luxurious corporate awards.
Every year, people from various backgrounds participate.
Starting from FY2025, a new Idea Category has been established within the Student Division. Please feel free to participate even with just an "idea"!
