Research Overview

My research encompasses community-based cohort studies and large-scale health insurance claims database studies, including studies using Japan’s National Database of Health Insurance Claims and Specific Health Checkups (NDB). I assess risk factors for lifestyle-related and cardiovascular diseases and evaluate Japan’s Specific Health Checkups and Specific Health Guidance programs. Through this work, I aim to generate evidence that contributes to strengthening evidence-based public health screening programs and developing next-generation health screening systems that enable personalized prevention.
